The short version

  • iBelieve is a tool for self-reflection and spiritual exploration. It is not medical or mental-health care.
  • If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (US) or your local emergency number right away.
  • AI-generated content, including AI Channels, can be wrong. AI Channels are simulations inspired by published teachings, not the real people or entities.
  • Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel on your Profile (web) or in the App Store / Google Play (mobile).
  • You own what you write; you give us permission to use it to run the Service for you.

Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the iBelieve website, mobile apps and related services (the “Service”) provided by Acodeus, LLC (“Acodeus”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Tell us promptly at support@acodeus.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

Not medical, psychological or emergency care

iBelieve offers spiritual, emotional and energetic reflections, including chakra and Ascension Keys views, breathwork, sound and AI-generated insights. The Service does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it does not replace licensed medical, psychological or other professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional about your health and well-being, and never delay or disregard professional advice because of something you read in the Service.

If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, US), call your local emergency number, or go to the nearest emergency room.

Breathwork and breath-holding can cause dizziness or fainting. Practice seated or lying down, never in or near water or while driving, and check with a professional first if you are pregnant or have heart, lung, blood-pressure, seizure or other medical conditions.

AI-generated content and AI Channels

Many features use artificial intelligence. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your situation, and it reflects patterns in data rather than verified facts. Use your own judgment and do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial or other important decisions.

AI Channels are AI conversations. Cosmic Mirror is iBelieve's own AI guide; Christ Consciousness and Dharmic Essence are AI guides inspired by the publicly available teachings of Jesus and of the Buddha. None of them are the actual individuals, entities or traditions, are endorsed by them or their representatives, or speak for any religion or organization.

Plans, subscriptions and billing

  • Plans. iBelieve offers a free tier and paid Basic and Premium plans. Features, prices and usage limits (for example the number of AI Channel messages per day) are shown in the app and may change over time.
  • Automatic renewal. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. We will notify you in advance of price changes.
  • Cancellation. On the web, cancel anytime from your Profile. For purchases made through the App Store or Google Play, cancel in that store’s subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
  • Plan changes. Upgrades take effect immediately and may be prorated; downgrades take effect as shown at the time of the change.
  • Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Refunds for App Store or Google Play purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
  • Beta access. Free access granted during our beta ends on the date shown in your account unless you subscribe.
  • Taxes. Prices may not include applicable taxes, which you are responsible for.

Gifts and donations

Optional gifts (“Give”) are voluntary contributions that support development. They are non-refundable except where required by law, do not purchase goods or services, and are not tax-deductible charitable contributions unless we expressly state otherwise.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break any law or infringe anyone’s rights;
  • access or attempt to access accounts, systems or data without authorization;
  • reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the Service or its models, except as the law expressly allows;
  • upload malware or interfere with the Service’s operation, security or usage limits;
  • use the Service to harass, threaten or harm others, or to generate unlawful or abusive content;
  • resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you submit, such as answers, journal entries, messages, audio and photos (“Your Content”). You grant Acodeus a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process and display Your Content to operate, secure and improve the Service for you, including sending it to our service providers as described in the Privacy Policy. Your journal is private to you. Feedback you send us may be used without obligation to you.

Barter Ecosystem

The Barter Ecosystem lets members aged 18 and over offer and exchange services and goods with each other inside communities run by member organizers. By using it you agree that:

  • iBelieve is not a party to any trade. Trades are agreements between the members involved. Acodeus does not provide, vet, guarantee or insure any service or item, and is not responsible for its quality, safety, legality or delivery.
  • iBelieve never handles money. Service hours are a community time-bank credit with no cash value; they can’t be bought, sold, transferred outside their community or redeemed. USD amounts are pledges members settle directly between themselves. Barter offers no crypto, coins or tokens, and nothing in it is an investment.
  • You won’t offer medicine or prescriptions, weapons, alcohol or drugs, adult services, or investment or “money-making” schemes; you’ll keep addresses and contact details out of posts; and you’ll follow the laws and licensing rules where you live, including for healing work and bodywork.
  • Meeting in person is at your own risk. Follow the safety tips in the app, and report or block anyone who makes you uncomfortable.
  • Organizers and Acodeus may remove posts and messages, change your trust level, remove you from a community, or close a community. Balances may be corrected from the ledger.

Barter community organizers

If you organize a Barter community (part of the Circle Leader plan), you also agree to:

  • write clear house rules, approve who joins, and moderate posts and messages in your community, acting on reports promptly;
  • remove members who break your rules, these Terms or the Barter safety rules;
  • not charge members to join or trade, and not use your community to sell investments, crypto or other money-making schemes;
  • organize as a member: you don’t act for Acodeus, which may moderate, pause or close any community.

If your plan lapses, your community stays readable but new members and trades pause until you renew. If you leave or delete your account, your longest-serving co-organizer takes over; with none, the community closes.

Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, designs, text, audio, visuals, geometry engines, algorithms and branding, is owned by Acodeus or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service under these Terms. Third-party names, teachings and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Third-party services

The Service relies on and links to third-party services (for example Google, Stripe, Apple, OpenAI, YouTube and PayPal). Their terms and policies govern your use of them, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any insight or result will be achieved.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Acodeus and its members, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Acodeus harmless from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or of anyone’s rights.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if we discontinue the Service; where reasonable we will give notice. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers and limitations of liability) will survive.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your place of residence requires otherwise. Before filing a claim, please contact us at support@acodeus.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will post the updated Terms here with a new date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
