Undines (Water Elementals)
Shimmering spirits of springs, rivers and seas from the elemental kingdom
Undines are the water branch of the Elementals: the spirits of springs, rivers, lakes and seas in the Western esoteric tradition of Paracelsus and the nymphs of classical myth. Ismael Perez does not describe them directly in the transcripts reviewed; most of this record comes from the wider community. His closest link is the teaching that young souls begin by embodying the elements, water among them, before rising through the plant and animal kingdoms.
Also called: Undines, Water spirits, Nymphs, Naiads, Nereids, Ocean devas.

If you met one…
By a quiet spring or a breaking wave you may notice the light on the water moving against the wind, a ripple that looks briefly like a face, a sudden coolness and lightness of heart. They are said to come closest to those who give thanks to the water.
What they look like
Fluid, translucent beings of shifting blue and silver light, often seen as feminine figures made of water; the larger ocean devas are described as vast luminous presences over whole seas and reefs.
Their gifts
Tending the life and purity of water, emotional cleansing, and inspiration in music and poetry.
Their bond with Earth
In community lore they tend the planet's waters and their emotional currents, withdraw from polluted places, and help those who bless and clean the water.
What each source says
Ismael Perez teaches that new souls begin as consciousness embodying the elements, gases, water, air and fire, then graduate to the plant, animal and finally human kingdoms. Water spirits fit naturally at the first stage of that path.
In Ismael Perez's account of the twelve Creations, the 6th Creation was a universe of the little people where elementals and other fairy-tale beings first arose. Undines, as water elementals, would share that origin.
In a 2026-10-17 livestream Ismael Perez presented water, from the galactic archives, as a symbol of consciousness, memory and transformation and as the primordial substance of creation, with the ocean as a picture of the universal field of consciousness. This is the closest he comes in that talk to the elemental view of water, though he does not name undines.
The esoteric tradition from Paracelsus to Theosophy names undines as one of four elemental kingdoms and links them with the naiads, nereids and oceanids of Greek myth. Modern nature-spirit teachers add great ocean devas who oversee whole seas and coral reefs.
