Vegan-descended Belt-star people said to hold the Akashic keys
The encyclopedia, citing the Vashta and Khailov sources, describes an ancient Vegan-descended race at Alnilam, the middle star of Orion's Belt. They are said to have refused to fight in the Orion Wars yet still suffered losses, and to stand with the Forces of Light.

Per Vashta and Pavel Khailov as summarized in the encyclopedia, Alnilam's people are called the EL, keepers of the great mysteries with full Akashic access. They are allied with Mintaka and Alnitak against the Rigel and Bellatrix factions.
